Lead PreSchool Teacher

Immediate opening for a full time lead preschool teacher to plan and implement an educationally sound preschool program which includes nurturing and meeting the needs of individual children in a community based child care center setting. The preschool teacher will be responsible for implementing all state and NAEYC regulations and assuring the safety and well being of the children at all times. He/she will be responsible for providing direct supervision to an assistant, aide and/or student volunteer regarding safety, procedures, and responsibilities. Additional responsibilities will include coordination with the Program Director, submitting weekly lesson plans, completing progress reports, maintaining materials, developing an interesting curriculum and carrying out the philosophy of the CIPCC. Must hold license with an endorsement in early childhood education. Benefits package.
