Our mission continues to be focused on building strong children, confident families and connected communities by committing to the following:

Fostering healthy child development and parent-child interactions.

Promoting family literacy.

Helping individuals move from welfare dependence… to economic independence.

As a member of the Vermont Parent Child Center Network, we share with fifteen other centers common goals that emphasize research-based prevention and early intervention.  Like other parent child centers around the state, CIPCC provides a place to access social services locally and serves as a clearinghouse and referral source for a variety of other state and non-profit human services.

Although varying in intensity around the state, all parent child centers provide eight core services: early childhood services, playgroups, parent education, family support, on-site services, home visits, information and referrals, and community development.
